Return & Refund Policy

Eligibility for Refund:
• Refunds may be possible on a case to case basis, if the product is irrevocably damaged and cannot be repaired.
• A damage assessment will be conducted within 4 to 5 working days of receiving the damaged product email with all required information. Please follow the return requirement as stated in Breakage section.
• Upon confirmation of the damage, the refund will be processed within 10 working days.
• Specific Damage Cases: For minor damages, such as paint chipping, or balancing of furniture, a representative will be sent to address the issue at the earliest convenience if locally in Mumbai. For outstation, the minor damages will be addressed on a case to case basis.

Refund for Breakages
• Shipping insurance is provided by HoC, however in order for HoC to make a claim with the insurer, a case needs to be opened within a certain time frame. If an item arrives damaged it is crucial that the customer contacts HoC via email at me.houseofcurations@gmail.com within a day of the item arriving damaged.

Breakage to Packaging Box at the time of Delivery:
• The delivery personnel are not obligated to open the packaging for you, as they are not employed by HoC directly. You are requested to cooperate with the delivery personnel for the same.
- We urge you to inspect the delivery box and report any defect in-transit or damage to the packaging or box to the delivery personnel immediately by mentioning the same on the proof of delivery
- A written communication to HoC along with pictures taken of the damaged box, the proof of broken delivery signed by the delivery person, and the image and contact details of delivery person is required to be sent immediately on me.houseofcurations@gmail.com , along with the Order number.
- Return or exchange requests on products that have suffered in-transit damage and which have been reported at the time of delivery will be accepted within 1 (one) day of such deliveries.

Breakage to Product without Packaging Box damage:
• In case of a broken item, without any damage to the packing box, which is a rare possibility, since each piece is personally packaged by us, please send to us images of the packaging label, and the broken item inside of the packaging via email as soon as you receive the item. Failure to do so within one day of the item being delivered to the customer will void any refund / replacement offer from HoC.
• For damaged items, HoC will pay for the return of the product and either undertake a replacement, or issue a refund including any courier costs incurred by the customer.
• If an International order arrives broken, the customer may need to take additional steps as per the conditions set out by the respective country’s Post claim process, which will be shared with you at the time of your ordering.
