At House of Curations, each piece of furniture & home décor is hand-painted with intention and crafted as one-of-a-kind art. We pour time, detail, and emotion into every creation and want you to feel joy and belonging when your HoC piece finds its place in your home. That’s why if you feel something amiss, we’re here to support you with empathy and care. Our returns & refund policy is tailored to balance the uniqueness of bespoke design with the comfort of our clients

Ready-to-Ship & Standard Products
If you’ve purchased a ready piece from our collection and it doesn’t feel right in your space, you may request for a Soulful Swap within 7 days of delivery.
● The piece must be unused, in original condition, and carefully packaged for return.
● Refunds, once approved, will be processed as:
○ Store credit valid for 12 months, or
○ Exchange for another product of equal or higher value (with balance payable).

Bespoke & Made-to-Order Pieces
Every bespoke order is personalized and created exclusively for you. Therefore they are non-refundable, cannot be returned or exchanged once production has begun.
However, our team will work with you throughout the co-creation journey, provide design previews, discussions, and approvals to ensure your vision is fully realized before delivery.

Damages in Transit
Every HoC piece is packaged with utmost care to ensure it reaches you safely. In the rare event of damage during transit, rest assured — your order is covered under our transit insurance. Simply notify us with supporting photographs and videos, and our team will arrange for a call back to help you. Your peace of mind matters as much as the art we create. Please read the below for further details and clarity.

1. Damaged Packaging Box at the Time of Delivery
● Our delivery personnel are third-party partners and are not employed directly by the House of Curations. They may not be able to open packaging on your behalf. We kindly request your cooperation with them during delivery.
● We strongly encourage you to inspect the outer delivery box at the time of receipt. If you notice any visible damage, dents, or tears to the packaging, please immediately note the same on the Proof of Delivery (POD) with the delivery personnel present.
● To register such a concern with HoC, please send us the following immediately at me.houseofcurations@gmail.com, mentioning your Order Number:
○ Clear pictures of the damaged box.
○ A copy/photo of the Proof of Delivery with remarks of damage signed by the delivery person.
○ A photo of the delivery person along with their name and contact details (as available).
● Requests for return or exchange due to in-transit packaging damage will be accepted only if captured with proof at the time of delivery and notified to us within 1 (one) day (24 hours) of delivery.

2. Breakage to Product Without Damage to Packaging Box
● In the rare event that the product itself arrives damaged, but the outer packaging box appears intact (since each piece is personally packed with care by HoC), please email us immediately with:
○ Clear images of the undamaged box, and shipping label
○ Photos of the broken/damaged product inside its packaging.
● This must be reported within 1 (one) day (24 hours) of delivery. Delayed reporting beyond this timeline will void any refund or replacement eligibility.
● For verified damaged items: We will either arrange for a replacement (subject to product availability) or issue a refund/store credits, including any courier charges borne by you.
● Refunds are not applicable for minor variations in colour, brushstrokes, or finish—these are part of the authentic charm of hand-painted artistry

For international orders, in case of transit damage, additional steps may be required under the respective country’s postal or courier claim process. These requirements will be shared with you at the time of placing your order.

Refund Timeline
● For approved returns, refunds/store credits are processed within 7–10 business days after the item is received and inspected.
